This procedure takes about an hour. We start by numbing the client’s skin for 30 minutes. A doctor draws a blood sample to start a centrifuge process, which separates the red blood cells from the Platelet-rich-plasma.
Once the skin is numb, the micro needling treatment begins while PRP is simultaneously applied to the face. This procedure has minimal downtime of around 2-3 days. Most patients will have redness, some swelling and mild discomfort.

How is the treatment carried out?

Will the PRP shot have long lasting effects?
There is no specific protocol for how long the effects of a PRP shot may last. Patients typically receive good results from the procedure with effects generally noticed for up to a year. How often you need to receive the PRP Shot will depend on the reason for the procedure and your circumstances.

IS THE PRP SHOT PAINFUL?
There is a little discomfort with PRP Shot, as with any injection, but a local anaesthetic or complete nerve block is used to numb the affected area and reduce any pain as much as possible. The patient can expect to use their penis as normal on the day of treatment once the numbing agent has subsided as no damage is caused that needs time to heal. The whole process is extremely straightforward and pain-free, especially when compared to other similar treatments.

SIDE EFFECTS OF THE PRP SHOT?
There are few to no side effects with the PRP Shot. There may be slight bruising or sensitivity that does not last long. Compared to other treatments for erectile dysfunction and associated problems the side effects are extremely minimal. After the treatment, you can go back to normal daily activities. You are even free to have sexual intercourse on the same day after the treatment and should find immediate improved results. In some cases, the results are immediate but may take up to 3-4 weeks.
